About

Mindset as defined by Merriam-Webster:

a mental attitude or inclination

elaborated by The Free Dictionary:

A fixed mental attitude or disposition that predetermines a person’s responses to and interpretations of situations.

If we humans were a computer program,it seems that our mindsets are the written code at the back of our brains that dictates how we respond to external inputs.

Mindsets, however, are not inborn. Our daily experiences, the things we learned at home, in school or in the workplace are mostly vital contributors to this.

Our mindsets indirectly dictate our work ethics, interpersonal relationships and work output. Either positively or otherwise. This blogsite exists with this in mind. To help people, specifically those at the workplace to evaluate themselves. To rethink their responses to situations; to reconsider the things they do everyday- to break mindsets that would hinder growth and rebuild it according to proven principles based on one truth source- The Bible.

Every post will contain a certain mindset we have to break. Every post, a Broken Mindset and an opportunity to rethink our ways and act on it.

The Verse that Defines Broken Mindset

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will. [Romans 12:2]

Broken Mindset is driven by this truth, that if we renew our mindsets, the way we think and the way we approach things- not according to “worldly” standards but by the truth of God’s word- then, we become transformed individuals. Individuals who can rise up and make a difference- because that is what we are called to do.

Broken Mindset is not here to spark debates, or to make you swallow an argument half-heartedly. The desire of the author is to offer God’s word. Because if there is any belief inside of you that there is a God who created you, then maybe, you would consider the idea that this God would want to help you live a victorious life. He is not just watching on the sidelines, He wants to be involved in your life. He gave you principles you may use: His words, and hopefully, through BrokenMindset.org you would read about them.

Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” {Matthew 11:28-30, The Message]

It’s an honor to be used by God to change your life!
